Radiohead Drummer Philip Selway Releases Promo For Single

Philip Selway of Radiohead has released the promo video for 'Coming Up For Air' the first single to be taken from his new solo album. The album is titled 'Wearherhouse' and is due to be released October 6th 2014.
The video was directed by the Spanish film group NYSU. When asked about the video, Selway said "Good videos can make you rethink the song that you've written. They also shine a light on what makes the track tick".

'Weatherhouse' is Selways second solo album following his debut in 2010 'Familial'. Speaking about the new album and the creative process he stated "From the outset we wanted the album to be the three of us, and we covered a lot of instruments between us. With a studio full of inspiring gear and a great-sounding desk, we felt like a band. Different musicians stretch you, and I felt stretched on 'Weatherhouse', but very enjoyably so".
The track listing for 'Weatherhouse' is:

'Coming Up For Air'
'Around Again'
'Let It Go'
'Miles Away'
'Ghosts'
'It Will End In Tears'
'Don't Go Now'
'Drawn To The Light'
'Waiting For A Sign'
'Turning It Inside Out'

Foxygen Are Back - Tack Review/Album and Tour Announcment

Foxygen are back with a catchy new single, a fun music video, tour and album announcement.    Foxygen, known for their 2013 breakthrough album 'We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic' have just released a new song 'How Can You Really' from their forthcoming album '...And Star Power'.  The fun melodious track is accompanied by an exciting video featuring Sam France channeling his inner glam-rock-god while dancing and singing in an office building. They have also announced a tour and album release date. The album will be released October 14th 2014. Here's the bands official statement describing the album: "Foxygen have joined Star Power. It is a punk band, and you can be in it, too. Star Power is the radio station that you can hear only if you believe. A gaggle of guest stars. Roman-numeraled musical suites. Vocals recorded on a shoddy tape machine at The Beverly Hills Hotel and Chateau Marmont. A svelte 82-minute run time of psych-ward folk, cartoon fantasia, soft-rock indulgences, D&D doomrock and paranoid bathroom rompers. A cinematic auditory adventure for speedy freaks, skull krunchers, abductees and misfits. We’re all stars of the scene."
The track itself is just over three minutes full of catchy riffs and hooks. Sam France's vocals are mellow and soft while Jonathan Rado's sharp piano playing swings and floats along with the casual full-sounding trumpets.
